Troop in a Bag! at the new leader training.
New Daisy and Brownie leaders will take home their own Troop in a Bag. These loaner bags contain everything you need to run your troop and create a quality leadership experience for your Girl Scouts. Each Troop in a Bag contains the National Program Portfolio including all three Journeys (girl books and adult guides) and the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting to use throughout their time as a Daisy or Brownie leader. One set of books per troop are on loan at no cost to the leaders. At least one new leader (per troop) must attend the Daisy or Brownie training to receive the Troop in a Bag.
New leader training is required for new Daisy and Brownie troop leaders. You must take GS 101 and Badgerland Volunteer Training (BVT) before attending this course.
Second year leaders will benefit from attending the new leader training too. Come get a refresher, hear what’s new this year and network with other leaders.
